We have identified over 1,350 strikes that happened since the beginning of March. (For a look at our methodology, see our story “How Black & Brown Workers Are Redefining Strikes in the Digital COVID Age”)
We suspect many strikes aren’t reporting at all for a variety of reasons and that the numbers are higher than we can track.
So, we need to keep sending tips to Payday for our strike here.
The New York Times has even cited our work four times in just the past year.
