Ralf Ruckus



Ralf Ruckus has been involved in squatting, militant inquiries, labor struggles, and cross-border solidarity for decades, mainly in Western and Eastern Europe, East and Southeast Asia, and North America. China has been Ralf’s main focus since the early 2000s, especially social struggles, migration, gender relations, and the country’s changing global role. Besides organizing grassroots exchanges, research, and support, Ralf has been engaged in the writing, translation, and publication of various China-related articles and books. Currently, Ralf investigates different left-wing positions on China’s Communist Party regime and also prepares a publication on the history and practice of the Left in China.
