Hilary Moore

Hilary Moore is a nanny, activist, and writer. She currently lives in Oakland California, where she cut her teeth on direct action for climate justice as a core member of Rising Tide Bay Area and a founding member of the Mobilization for Climate Justice West. Hilary organizes around gentrification issues in West Oakland and is currently writing about white, anti-racist, working-class strategies. She sits on the board of the Institute for Social Ecology. Her interests and research focus on building collective practices of care within communities engaged in resistance and struggle.
